About Vegreville Food Bank

History

The Vegreville Food Bank Society began as an initiative of the Vegreville Ministerial Association in February 1992.

By February 1993, the Vegreville Food Bank Society was incorporated and operated out of the Maple Street Worship Center (now called North Pointe Community Church) until March 2024.

Due to community support, the Vegreville Food Bank Society has been able to provide emergency food hampers for over 40 years.

Mission

The Vegreville Food Bank is an affiliate member of Food Banks Canada, and we are committed to the goal of Relieving Hunger Today and Preventing Hunger Tomorrow.
